Yes, a close one. For roughly 12 years now, I've been hunting monsters with Dean and his brother Sam. Juvenile as some parts of the bestiary may seem, he's an expert in this kind of work.

Perhaps. Dean's work is typically more hands on. Machetes and shotguns, over network searches and spreadsheets. That discomfort, leading something outside his wheelhouse, likely fueled part of his own sensitivity.
